Andrea began her career studying Fine Art And Printmaking. 1993 -1996 she did a three year Diploma in Psychosynthesis Counselling and Therapy. She worked in schools and a psychiatric hospital as a Technical Instructor on Secure and Semi Secure Wards. In addition she worked as an Advocate for the Mental Health Charity (NSF) now Rethink. She had a small private practice.

In 2002 she began her Masters at the Institute For Arts in Therapy and Education she completed this in 2005. Since graduation she has worked as a School Project Manager for The Place to Be in a Junior and Infant school. She also worked as a Personal Development Coach for the Hanover Foundation in inner city school with senior school pupils.

She worked with adults at the Parent Infant Clinic on Intensive Family Programmes for children newly diagnosed on the Autistic Spectrum.

Andrea joined Creative Health Lab and ran an Art Psychotherapy Group for three years, the project produced a book CREATIVE HEALTH LAB: creative approaches to community health and wellbeing.

In 2011 -12 she trained at the British Association of Psychotherapists in Supervision Skills.

In October 2012 - March 2013 she studied Foundations of Analytical Psychology at The Society of Analytical Psychology.

Currently she is training at SAP in the Jungian Process and Experience Group.

Andrea has returned to her love of printmaking and has exhibited works in mixed exhibitions.

Andrea uses creativity and Humanistic and Integrative Theory with a growing appreciation of Analytical Psychology in her therapeutic approach. A specialist interest is in Dissociative Disorders. She is also a Supervisor.
