I am Melanie Grange, welcome to my practice. I am a qualified Integrative counsellor, and am registered with the BACP (British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy). I work with individual adults on a time-limited or longer term basis, depending on your specific needs.
I offer a non-judgemental, safe and neutral space for you to explore the issues you are facing, and to feel fully heard. Therapy can be beneficial for many issues, such as dealing with a personal crisis, having a specific problem to focus on, tackling the things that are holding you back, coping with difficult emotions, or just feeling lost and out of touch with who you are.
Depending on your unique needs, I can draw from a variety of approaches, but always with the underlying commitment of supporting you in finding your own solutions and inner resources. In doing this, we may see how your past experiences have affected you and perhaps also your relationships, or we may simply look at the issues that you are experiencing in the present. I can also offer a more solution-focussed approach to tackle specific issues. Whatever your reasons for coming to therapy, we can work together to unlock a way of being and living that works better for you. Some examples of the specific reasons that people seek counselling are:
- Relationship Issues
- Panic attacks
- Low self-esteem
- Financial concerns
- Disability or health issues
- Obsessive or compulsive tendencies
- Work or career concerns
Since 2014, I have worked extensively at an NHS-funded counselling centre in west London, where I see clients who have been referred by their GP. My practice is fully insured and professionally supervised in accordance with BACP guidelines, and I abide by the BACP code of ethics.
